A Better Deal for Hypocrisy

The Democrat slogan for 2018 shouldn’t be “A Better Deal for our Democracy,” it should be A Better Deal for Hypocrisy.

With all this Democrat pearl clutching about the divisive rhetoric of President Donald Trump you would think it would easy to dismiss rude behavior.  Yet when Democrat Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders was asked about the mobs harassing Republicans he did everything in his power to deflect from answering the question… http://bit.ly/2CfpCnb

Someone apparently hasn’t told failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton we are supposed to believer survivors of sexual assault.  When asked by CBS’ Tony Dokoupil if President Bill Clinton should have resigned over sexual assault allegations she said no.  Somebody better tweet @HillaryClinton the hashtag #BelieveAllWomen because she apparently missed it trending… https://cbsn.ws/2yEl9Hv


Searing Sears

After 125 years it has come to this, bankruptcy.  Sears is facing a $134 million payment due Monday on it’s 5.5 billion dollar debt.

The long-time retailer has been negotiating all weekend with it’s largest debtholders which include Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Citigroup.

The banks are set to provide a so-called debtor-in-possession loan of about $500 million, which will be used to keep some of its stores open and lights on for the foreseeable future.  Currently, the company operates roughly 700 Sears and Kmart stores

Sears will close at least 150 stores immediately as part of the deal.  Meanwhile, another 250 stores will be under evaluation….https://on.wsj.com/2IX4FyO

Free at Last

A North Carolina pastor wrongfully imprisoned in Turkey for two years was welcomed home on Saturday morning.

Andrew Brunson was convicted Brunson of terror charges on Friday but was released from house arrest and allowed him to leave Turkey.

Brunson, originally from Black Mountain, North Carolina, met with the President, various US officials, and Senators Thom Tillis and Richard Burr of North Carolina, amongst others…https://abc11.tv/2NEXfkt
